 A seed in a tree

or a tree in a seed

who came first

I question myself often.

If a seed came first

with a tree inside.

How one could fit so huge so many

in one tiny seed?

If a tree came first

with a seed inside.

How one could fit so huge so many

trees inside a tree?

No thoughts, no questions

but I pause in wonderment.

So many seeds and so many trees

in so many trees and so many seeds.

No first, No last

No beginning, no end

It's the potential in wait

withhold, withstand.
