The day care child

THE DAY CARE CHILD

The "Day care" is my new home
No siblings but have few friends.
The "Caretaker" is my new mom
Let's fathom the changing trend!!

My day starts like a robot machine.
Just get up and set the motion.
Perhaps the family which I belong to

is lacking in love named emotion.

Three critters busy in the morning so early,
hurrying to leave on time.
Bracing for the routine so banal
to earn few extra dimes.

It's her phone but not me for sure
is the treasure of her life.
Though frowningly leaves me everyday
but can't put former out of sight.

Who may care when I get hurt.
No one is bothered when I do whine.
No one there to pamper and love me,
my mommy you are always been pined(by me)

I want to be with you after school
when mommies come  to pick up my friends.
Want to share my class room stories
before the day really ends.

I won't scoff to the food you make
and will listen to all your commands.
Mommy its my promise to you
I will not make any lavish demand.

I go to work to earn the money,
she often says to me.
Expensive gifts and your growing wish list,
son, nothing comes for free.

I don't want gift, I will not make wish
all I need is you.
If you give me your time instead
then wonders I may do.

Sensational senses

SENSATIONAL SENSES
(on the tune of where is thumbkin)

This poem is an easy way to make kids learn senses, using very simple adjectives and more appropriate during bedtime farewell. Age group 2-5 yrs)

We have five senses
We have five senses
eyes, ears nose
Tongue and skin
(2 times this para with different tune both the times

We have two eyes
We have two eyes
what do they do?
What do they do?
They can see the flower
Blooming in the garden.
Eyes are sense, beautiful sense

We have two ears
We have two ears
What do they do?
What do they do?
They can hear sounds
shout scream on grounds
Ears are sense, fabulous sense.

We have one nose
We have one nose
What does it do?
What does it do?
It can smell the food
mommy made so good.
Nose is a sense, superb sense

We have one tongue
We have one tongue
What does it do?
What does it do?
We can taste sweet,
salt, tangy treat.
Tongue is a sense, a very strong sense.

We have skin
We have skin
what does it do?
What does it do?
We can touch our pillow
Feel so mellow
Sleep very tight
good good night.

You can also make a craft to enhance the poem and give the child to feel all the senses.

1) Googly eyes
2) Jingle bell ears
3) perfumed cotton ball nose
4) licorice smile
5) sandpaper face

Baby blue( not blues )

Time to wake up, its 8 or 9
my bed tea on its way.
Lay beside me coo and smile
my angel starts my day.

As if like a bird's feather
quite gentle and soft in touch.
Feel so very fragile and fresh
taste smell mother's milk fudge.

Squeaks like a tiny mouse
Time to pamper and cuddle.
Roars like a ferocious lion
Hurry for tight and cozy swaddle.

Sleeps like a beauty queen
He is the king of my heart.
But if his big brother is around
then cry will definitely start.

Saccharine Seven

Should I call myself fortuitous,
to find you out of billions.
Or is my planetary position propitious,
which makes me feel like a million ($$$).

Gleeful moments we had together,
saccharine seven years.
Nothing could make our relation flimsy,
however, we had our time of tears.

Quixotic going my life on,
your's was bland and prosaic.
Valentine's day I betrothed to you,
may god wished to see a live mosaic.

This is not  a trite remark me making,
but as being socially compulsory.
I wish you, you wish me together, forever,
A very very Happy Anniversary.

A gay morning

While taking my morning walks
my mind starts to knock,
Put me into think
What makes an american morning rock?

Start my walk through the heaven,
morning so serene and gay.

Surreal surroundings are so quixotic, holding my thoughts at bay.

Sprinklers showering personalized gardensas if nature is taking a bath.Beauty of plants and stones of all kinds, are embellishing pristine path.

Steaming vents, steaming cars, getting ready for the day.Slowly mountains slathered by,umpteen number of sun rays.

Some are biking, some are jogging, rest are walking brisk.Gloating, giggling, crowing and wiggling, munchkins are so much at frisk.

Mellowing, muffling, immaculately cladded, parents sipping coffee to school.
answer winsomely is one of the parenting rules.

Resplendent responses I always get,
for saying, "hi" and "hello".
No matter how fast, life is here,
folks will never bellow.

Speedy freeways in the morning,
Look like racing tracks for cars.
Lifestyle so genteel, vehement and spurious
but my morning walks are so above par.

Resplendent responses I always get,
for saying, "hi" and "hello".
No matter how fast, life is here,
folks will never bellow.

Mama

So many pigeons perching on a pole
One fell off, in a big hole
Crying crying momma, where r u
I want to say , I love you

Mama said baby don't be afraid
Time comes in life making you sad
Call call momma I will be there
All pains and sorrow for u to share

Bubba bubba (the name of the baby) little brother
Has a cute smile and need a cuddle

Wrapped in a blanky day and night
Mommas milk bring shine in his eyes

Sucking and sleeping he loves to do
Or else pass time in pee and poo.

Mom's epiphany

She was my first teacher,
First sibling, first friend.
Gingerly took care of me,
She never do pretend.

Waiting for me at the bus stop
A welcoming winsome smile.
Carrying me in her arms so strong,
Walking everyday a mile.

( in my school days she used to hold me in her arms from bus stop to home which was almost 1 mile distance)

She fulfilled all my incessant,
Preposterous, wistful demands.
Genteel nature get things done,
Never used any cynical commands.

Frolicked with me like an ally,
Play boisterously without a whine.
My bosom buddy, she proves so well,
Would make me win all the time.

Finding myself in quandary,
She is my only hope.
Her words, her thoughts, her nature always,
Boosting my confidence to cope.

Cannt see me in pain, if any.
This is my moms heart.
Biding on the ends of the world,
But distance won't us part.

Me mom of two munchkins,
Can fathom her motherly pain.
Her teachings, her wishes and blessings forever,
Will surely never go in vain.

She mentored me to always "give",
And anticipate nothing in return.
Idiosyncratic style of her parenting,
To believe in "everyday we learn".

( she believes even parents do learn a lot from their kids and the former shouldn't close their eyes to the radically changing world shown by latter)

Love so sanctified,fervent and innocuous,
Words extolling my mom.
Everyone should "Nurture kids gingerly".
For which she is the best epitome.

Love you mom forever and ever !!

Potty training

Potty training
(especially to potty train them)
(tune of where is thumb kin?)

Let's make some potty
Let's make some potty

Go do pee
Go do poo

When you get over,
wipe it sober.
flush it down,
Stop your count.

Look for the tap
We dont need map

Wash your hands,
soap, no pretends.

Wipe them dry
Dont make a cry.
Keep away germs
If follow all the terms.
