Wild Wind

When fall is the only season

in the town I live.

Leaves of all kinds drew a rainbow on the ground.

I see that man raking so patiently and passionately

amidst no soul, however, can be found.

I wonder what's driving him or is he driving crazy?

To check I passed close by and heard him humming some tune.

A tune of infinite joy - no hope, no pain, no pleasure, no gain.

Envious, curious, furious me, wanted to crush him under my feet.

How can you be so eternally happy in insanely lonely weather like this?

With a blink of an eye, his hat said goodbye, and the beautiful reclined rainbow sat upright.

He tightly held his faith and rake

And the shaking ground he stood on.

No one around and I passed by him again to check on what was left.

To my surprise, I heard him so clear

humming the tune of infinite joy- no hope, no despair, no pleasure, no fear.

This time the tune was contagiously joyful.

It made me do the eternal dance.

I danced on his tune and tamed and turned to a gentle breeze.
