I broke my house

 In a sunlit field

under the galaxy of stars

I built my house and I called it home.

Where the Walls of emotions

holding the Roof of thoughts.

Where Doors of desires

welcoming Guests of preconceived notions.

Where Windows of fake wisdom

were draped in the curtains of confused psyche.

My ideal place to thrive.

Everything under my control.

I was happily playing inside.

One day life naturally unfolds

It shook my world upside down.

I RAN OUT OF LIGHT

in my house so tightly packed.

Nothing can escape and nothing can enter

against my will, opposing my wishes.

The darkness I fought

with all my fiery might.

This place my home

which I called my whole world.

In the whirlpool of wisdom

my world was twirling and shattering in pieces.

I ran to fix the walls

but the storm was so strong

Broke the wall open,

roof came tumbling down.

And I found I was incredulously wrong

The warmth of nature

The light of the galaxy

The light of the sun

were waiting for me with open arms.

True happiness wasn’t far.

There was light so bright everywhere.

The darkness has vanished.

I broke my home with my own hands.

I was truly enlightened

when I banished the

house of doubts, fear, and desire.
